Bayleys Wellington Commercial & Industrial director Rohan Hill won the national commercial and industrial salesperson of the year award – ahead of some 185 colleagues across 57 other Bayleys branches throughout New Zealand. Rohan Hill also won the top salesperson award for Bayleys’ commercial and industrial operations in Wellington.
In addition, Bayleys Wellington Commercial & Industrial also took out Bayleys’ office auction award. Sales agents Richard Faisandier and Rohan Hill won commendations for achieving $200million worth of property deals during their careers, while colleagues Chris Callear and John McKenzie were acknowledged for reaching $50million worth of sales and leasing transactions.
To cap off the night, Richard Faisandier, Rohan Hill and Mark Hourigan were presented with 10-year long service awards, while Kathryn Boult and Fraser Press received five-year long service awards. The presentations took place at Bayleys national annual awards dinner held in Rotorua.
Bayleys Wellington Commercial & Industrial director Rohan Hill said the impressive collection of awards was recognition of an outstanding effort his team put in, over what has been one of the toughest years in real estate sales history.
“It shows that with professional people, backed by proven processes and procedures, under the umbrella of New Zealand’s best commercial and industrial property brand, that even in tough times there will be sales successes,” Mr Hill said.
“The commercial and industrial property market in Wellington is in a unique position within New Zealand – being underpinned by strong Government agency commitment. In parallel, steadily growing commercial developments around the city fringes are presenting a number of opportunities for investors – so overall while the industry is ‘doing it tough’ now, in the long term the prospects are encouraging as Wellington continues to expand,” he added.
