Rye man on Public Broadcast boardDURHAM — Jeffrey D. Gilbert of Rye has joined the New Hampshire Public Broadcasting board of directors. Gilbert is a principal of W.J.P. Development LLC, which owns and manages community shopping centers in New Hampshire.
Dr. Sara Jayne Steen, president of Plymouth State University and professor of English at the university, also joined the board.
Mark Collin of North Hampton remains chairman of the board for 2010-11. Collin is senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Unitil Corp. Steven Albrecht, CEO of Charter Trust Company, is the board's vice chairman; Richard Maloney, president of Maloney & Kennedy PLLC, is board treasurer; and Ronald Abramson, of Abramson Immigration Solutions, serves as secretary.
The 2010-11 New Hampshire Public Broadcasting board of directors also includes Merrimack School District Superintendent Marjorie Chiafery; William A. Barker, retired; John D. Crosier Sr., trustee, University System of New Hampshire; George Epstein, trustee, USNH; Marilyn Higgins Forest, real estate management; Lois Haskins, LGH Consulting; Larry K. Haynes, president and CEO, Grappone Auto Group; Angela Irons, assistant vice president, GA Distribution, Lincoln Financial Group; Edward MacKay, chancellor, USNH; James T. McKim, learning program manager, HP Learning Development Centers; Sean O'Kane, global commercial director, Hotel Solutions; David Sundman, president, Littleton Coin Company; John Swope, retired; and Katherine Wells Wheeler, retired.
